Right at Home Camden, Hampstead & Golders Green achieves Outstanding Rating by CQC

We are thrilled and extremely proud to announce that we, Right at Home Camden, Hampstead & Golders Green, have been rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, CQC. This is the highest possible rating and a spectacular achievement. This accomplishment is a reflection of our amazing team here at Right at Home: our devoted caregivers, our leadership team, and the entire community we support.

The CQC is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. They ensure companies and care providers meet fundamental standards before they are allowed to practice. They evaluate care providers across five key areas:

1. Safety: Are service receivers protected from abuse and avoidable harm.

2. Efficiency: Does the care provided improve people’s health and well-being?

3. Compassion: Are staff kind, respectful, and compassionate?

4. Responsiveness: Are the services organised so that they meet the needs of users.

5. Leadership: Does leadership ensure high-quality, person-centred care which supports innovation and fosters an open, fair culture?

Overall, across the board we have scored an ‘Outstanding’ rating on our service which only about 1-4% of homecare services in England achieve. We're very proud of this accomplishment and we don’t take it for granted.

This achievement is all thanks to our incredible team. Their hard work, dedication, and compassion are what earnt us this Outstanding rating.

In addition to all of these accolades, inside the CQC report inspectors praised staff who: made service users feel listened to, spent extra time with those receiving end of life treatment, and created deeply trusted bonds with clients and their families. CQC claimed that our staff: “go above and beyond expectations.” An Outstanding rating means more to us than just a label; it's recognition of our commitment to delivering personalised, high-quality care every day. Our commitment to providing excellence ensures peace of mind for those we support and their families.

Our team’s success wouldn’t be possible without strong leadership. Managing Director, Darshan Vora and Registered Manager, Dione Decker have created a supportive culture where continuous improvement is an ongoing goal within our service. 

Our management has made sure that our vision and values have been instilled across the board within our service. Their ongoing support whether this be talking with staff, encouraging their development or even training them has contributed massively to our CQC rating.

Since our first inspection in September 2024, we’ve focused on mentoring our staff, carefully matching CareGivers with clients, and allowing time for meaningful visits. We’ve also introduced initiatives like our “Extra Mile Champion” and hosted events such as our end of summer barbecue to build connection and positivity. We’re proud to be among the few to receive an ‘Outstanding’ rating on our first CQC inspection and we’re committed to maintaining that standard both in our community and with the CQC.

With that being said, none of this would be possible without the team. We want to express our deepest gratitude and gratefulness for our amazing and unwavering CareGivers, our punctual and unmatched office team for guiding and supporting us every step of the way. We’re already expanding our services and strengthening our nurse-led complex care team, with the goal of reaching and supporting even more local families. At the same time, we’re committed to ongoing innovation and building an even stronger community. We promise to keep raising the bar because for us, Outstanding isn’t just a rating, it’s a standard we strive to meet every single day.
