Supporting Wellbeing Through Social Prescribing
Our Managing Director, Registered Manager, and Operations Director recently attended a Social Prescribing Day event at Lordswood Leisure Centre, joining others from across the community to explore how wellbeing can be supported beyond traditional healthcare.
Social prescribing focuses on connecting people with local services and activities, such as social groups, exercise, and community support, helping to promote overall wellbeing in a more holistic and person-centred way.
It was a valuable opportunity to share ideas, learn from others, and strengthen connections within the local community. The team particularly enjoyed meeting Jo and Aslan from Amazing Minds, who brought a memorable and uplifting element to the day.
Events like this highlight the importance of community and collaboration in supporting individuals to live well.
