Employer of the Year in the Network’s Celebration Awards

Local homecare provider Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury is celebrating after picking up the Employer of the Year (30-49 Staff) Award at the network’s Celebration Awards.
The annual awards took place at the national franchise’s prestigious ceremony on Thursday 28 September, at Hilton St George’s Park. Over 200 members from the Right at Home network were in attendance. The awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of franchises and employees who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in Clients’ lives and their local communities.
Upon receiving the award, Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury was praised for its structured recruitment and retention strategy which included internal promotions and local college integration. It was clear to the team that Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury values the employee experience and balances it perfectly while offering high-quality Client care.
David Meanwell, owner of Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury commented: “I’m absolutely thrilled with this award win. The award win rounds off a fantastic year for Right at Home Stockport & Didsbury who also become part of the prestigious ‘Right at Home Premier Circle’, recognising significant revenue growth in the last twelve months.
Right at Home Stockport, which has a Good rating from the CQC, provides care and support to people living in their own homes, predominantly in the Stockport & Didsbury areas but extending to Denton, Marple, Woodsmoor & Romiley. It currently supports more than 70 Clients and employs a team of 60-70 CareGivers. Services range from companionship, home help and personal care to specialist dementia care and live-in care services.
