Celebrating Community: The Hello Club’s Day Out at Oaks Park

At Right at Home, we love seeing our local community thrive – and last Wednesday, 6th August, was a perfect example. We were delighted to be invited to join The Hello Club for their wonderful group day out at the beautiful Oaks Park.

The weather could not have been better – warm sunshine, blue skies, and a gentle breeze. Around 30 people attended, including The Hello Club’s members and dedicated volunteers. We were all treated to delicious sandwiches and drinks, generously provided by Oaks Park, and enjoyed leisurely walks through the stunning grounds. It’s easy to see why Oaks Park is such a loved location for a day outdoors.

For those who don’t yet know, The Hello Club is a warm, welcoming group for people over 50. They meet up to three times a week to socialise, make new friends, and enjoy activities that keep both minds and bodies active. It’s an inspiring reminder that staying connected and learning new skills can keep us all feeling young at heart.
