Celebrating Father’s Day

What is Father’s Day about?

Sunday 15th June marks Father’s Day, a great day to show appreciation for your father or father figure. It originated in the 1910’s in the US and has continued to be a fantastic celebration honoured all over the world!  The day is about honouring fatherhood, showing gratitude for all that father’s do for their families and acknowledge the important role they play in our lives.

At Right at Home Mid Surrey, we believe it is important to keep celebrations such as father’s days alive – especially in our community, it is important to us that everyone comes together to join the celebration.

Celebrate this Sunday in style!

Not quite sure what to plan this Father’s Day? How about a lovely trip to The Oaks Golf club. Situated in Banstead, the tranquil golf course is a lovely way to spend this special day, appreciating the beautiful views the course has to offer. The Oaks offer a wonderful tee time from £25, so why not treat your father to this fantastic gift.

Not a sports enthusiast? Not to worry, how about taking your father to a lovely dinner. Sutton and Mid Surrey offers a wide range of fantastic restaurants to pick from. How about visiting Frankie and Benny’s where you can get a free pint of beer.  Alternatively, why not have a picnic in one of surrey’s beautiful parks, Alexandra Park. Take advantage of the wonderful weather this Sunday and create wonderful memories with your father.
