Right at Home at the Wallington Community Health & Wellbeing Event

This month, the Right at Home team had the pleasure of attending the Wallington Community Health and Wellbeing Event, held on 7th November. The day brought together an inspiring mix of health professionals, charities, local businesses, and families, all united by a shared dedication to improving wellbeing across the community. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with others who are equally passionate about helping people access the support they need close to home.
Throughout the event, we enjoyed meeting organisations who, like us, are committed to helping individuals remain safe, independent, and active in the place they know best—their own homes. These community partnerships are incredibly valuable, as they strengthen the network of support available to those who may be facing health challenges, mobility concerns, or simply need a little extra help day to day.
At Right at Home, we take pride in offering high-quality domiciliary and home care that is tailored to each person we support. Our work ranges from providing companionship and social interaction to delivering personal care, helping with medication, and supporting people with household tasks. We also specialise in caring for individuals living with dementia, Parkinson’s, mobility difficulties, and other complex needs. For family carers who give so much of themselves, we offer respite care—giving loved ones valuable time to rest and recharge while knowing their family member is in safe, compassionate hands.
What truly sets our service apart is the time we invest in getting to know every client. We believe that understanding someone’s routines, preferences, and what matters most to them is essential to delivering genuine, person-centred care. Every care plan is bespoke, and our carers are selected not only for their skills but for their warmth, empathy, and commitment to dignity and respect.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who visited our stand during the event. The conversations, questions, and personal experiences people shared reminded us just how important community collaboration is. We left the event feeling energised and grateful to be part of such a supportive and connected community.
If you or someone you love is considering home care, our friendly team is always here to help. We’re happy to guide you through your options and provide the support needed to live comfortably, confidently, and independently at home.
