On the 12th of April, we had the immense pride of cheering on our incredible Carer, Elena, as she took on the Brighton Marathon in support of Alzheimer’s Society. What she achieved goes far beyond crossing a finish line — it’s a story of dedication, compassion, and determination.
Elena committed herself wholeheartedly to this challenge, training relentlessly in the weeks and months leading up to race day. Through early mornings, long runs, and unwavering focus, she pushed herself every step of the way — all while continuing to provide exceptional care and support to those who need it most.
Her efforts paid off in spectacular fashion. Not only did she complete the 26.2-mile challenge in a fantastic time, but she also raised an incredible £1,030 for Alzheimer’s Society. This contribution will help fund vital research, provide support for families, and raise awareness of a condition that affects so many lives.
For Elena, this run was about more than just the distance — it was about making a difference. As a Carer, she sees firsthand the impact Alzheimer’s can have, and her commitment to this cause reflects the compassion she brings to her role every single day.
