Tim Haigh Takes a More Active Role at The Hello Club

Published: 12/01/2026

We’re delighted to share some exciting news about Tim Haigh and his growing involvement with The Hello Club.

Tim will be stepping in to take on the administrative tasks at The Hello Club, helping to support the smooth running of this fantastic community group. This marks an important step in strengthening our involvement and ensuring The Hello Club can continue to thrive and grow.

The Hello Club is a vibrant community group for people aged 50 and over, with a clear and inspiring mission: to beat isolation and keep people socialising. Through regular meet-ups, activities, and a welcoming atmosphere, The Hello Club plays a vital role in helping members stay connected, active, and engaged.

We are incredibly excited to be taking a more active role in supporting The Hello Club and to continue the amazing work it already does. From encouraging social connections to helping people stay physically and mentally active, the impact The Hello Club has on its members is truly special.

One of the highlights we’re particularly looking forward to is having Friday Fevers with Age UK Sutton become a scheduled and regular part of The Hello Club week. This much-loved session brings energy, laughter, and plenty of movement — and we know it will be a firm favourite. With activities now meeting four times a week, there are even more opportunities for members to get involved, stay active, and enjoy time together.

We’re proud to support The Hello Club as it continues to grow and make a real difference in the community. With Tim taking on this expanded role, we’re excited for what the future holds and look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces to the club.

If you’re over 50 and looking to stay active, meet new people, and be part of a friendly and supportive community, The Hello Club would love to see you.
