Sam's Story

Sam has Asperger Syndrome and lives in his own flat. His parents knew he needed some supervision and assistance with living on his own and wanted to encourage his independence with support from a CareGiver of a similar age.

Bob's Story

The many years Bob spent as a soldier and active construction worker were beginning to take a physical toll. At first, he simply had trouble standing up from his chair without a helping hand, but he soon needed more help.

The Team at Right at Home looked after my Father in his home with 4 nursing visits a day for well over a year. They showed a friendly compassion to both me and my Father as his dementia worsened and through several illnesses which meant taking him to hospital on a number of occasions.

They not only cared for his physical needs but built a relationship with him and showed a genuine interest in him and his past memories. I am sure this helped him greatly, it certainly helped me cope with my Father's condition.

I can not praise them enough. Now at 95, he has had to move nearer to me and on into full-time care home. I will miss the team. My sincere thanks. He is still able to enjoy some life thanks I am sure to the efforts of the Team.

I could not be more pleased with the care that my parents are receiving. The care staff treat my parents as if they were family. From the initial interviews that took place ensuring that all of the necessary information was gathered and considered before a plan of care was put into place; to the daily and nightly care that happens is simply outstanding. When there have been emergencies and my parents have needed additional time and assistance it has not seemed to be a burden.

The staff have stayed late and assisted when needed as well as reassured my family that they were safe and they would be well cared for. The level of care and professionalism with this company is outstanding. I couldn't feel any more reassured that they are in the best hands. I see it with my parents as well. They were wary at first and not convinced that they needed care.

I believe that the trust is there and care is reliable as well as comforting that they now feel like part of our family.
