10th Anniversary Celebration 2026 Update

December 2025 marked the 10-year anniversary since the launch of Right at Home Havant & Petersfield, and January 2016 was when we received our licence from the CQC to deliver regulated care in the community.

In those early days it was largely just Duncan and Nickki, operating from a shoebox sized office in Langstone Technology Park in Havant. With the help of a handful of part-time carers—and buckets of determination to deliver care of the highest quality—the business has grown into a team of more than 50 staff supporting nearly 120 clients and delivering around 1,000 hours of care each week.

One of the biggest highlights of the past decade was achieving an Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission at our very first inspection. Other major milestones include being recognised as a Top 20 South East Provider by Homecare.co.uk for both offices, and winning the WorkBuzz Awards three years in a row, based on high engagement scores and response rates from our care team in annual staff surveys.

In 2021, we were proud to open our second office in Petersfield, where we quickly began building a strong reputation for delivering the same high-quality, person-centred care that our Havant office is known for. Around the same time, Duncan became increasingly involved in dementia support across both the Petersfield and Havant communities, launching several groups to help people living with the disease and those who care for them. This work was formally recognised in 2025 with a community recognition award presented by local MP Alan Mak.

Along the way, we have faced our share of challenges—from Brexit and the pandemic to the evolving pressures of social care—but these experiences have shaped us, strengthened our team, and reaffirmed our commitment to delivering exceptional care within our community.
