Supporting Our Community in Memory of a Much-Loved Client
At Right at Home Lymm and Warrington South, we believe in giving back to the community that means so much to us — and to the people we care for.
Earlier this year, we had the honour of donating £500 to the Oughtrington Luncheon Club, a local organisation close to the heart of one of our much-loved clients, Morag Smith, who sadly passed away earlier this year.
This donation was made possible after we were lucky enough to win the Super Duck Race at the Lymm Duck Race in April, receiving a £1,000 prize to donate to local charities. We chose to split the prize in memory of two very special clients— with the first half going to the Luncheon Club, a place that brought Morag so much joy and continues to support many of our current clients today.**
The donation has already had a tangible impact. The Luncheon Club was able to purchase a new fridge, helping them continue to serve fresh, nutritious meals to attendees twice a week.
Iain Penlington | Luncheon Club Manager"On behalf of everyone at the Luncheon Club, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Right at Home Lymm and Warrington South for the generous donation. Your kindness has helped us purchase a new fridge, ensuring we can continue serving fresh, nourishing meals to our community. Your support truly makes a difference!"
Clare Coke | Care Director"We wanted to do something in Morag’s memory that would make a real difference. The Luncheon Club was a special place for her and supporting them felt like the perfect way to honour her life and her connection to the community."
