Right at Home Book-swap!
How to use our free community book-swap in Nantwich...

Introducing our book-swap!
Our book-swap has been a hit already, despite only just opening a few weeks ago!
We wanted to bring something a little different to our office on Welsh Row in Nantwich, creating a simple way for us to give back to our local community.
With plenty of people passing by our office everyday, we thought it would be the perfect spot for a little book-swapping corner, where anyone can exchange a book they've already enjoyed for something new to read.
;)
The history of the telephone box...
Over the years, traditional red telephone boxes have been given a new lease of life, with many being transformed into book-swaps, defibrillator stations and much more. Rather than letting an iconic piece of British history disappear, communities have found creative ways to repurpose them into something useful.
Our own telephone box has a similar story, after being notified that the telephone box needed a new home or it will be disposed of, we couldn't help but jump at the opportunity in front of us!
Our friends at the Chicken Shed Emporium made the telephone box, and we couldn't be more grateful for them letting us give it a new purpose!

Important Information and Rules:
Whilst the book-swap is free for anyone to use, it is important you understand how to use it properly:
As the book-swap is based at our office, it is open when we are in the office, just so we can keep an eye on it. Therefore the book-swap is open 08:30-17:00, Monday - Friday.
Please be mindful of how many books you leave. While we welcome donations, our telephone box is already pretty full, so we ask that you avoid leaving large quantities of books. If you have lots to donate, please consider visiting Oxfam Bookshop or another local charity shop in Nantwich.
We take pride in our historic office, and we'd love from our external appearance to reflect the high-quality service we provide, so please, keep the telephone box clean and tidy.
Other than that, the book-swap is free for anyone to use and if you have anymore questions, feel free to knock on our door of give us a call!
