Excellent Across the Board!
At Right at Home Bridgend & Vale of Glamorgan, we’re pleased to announce that we have been awarded Excellent in all three areas in our most recent Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) inspection, a wonderful endorsement of our home care services in Bridgend and the Vale of Glamorgan.
In order to enhance the quality and safety of services for the benefit of the people of Wales, CIW registers, inspects, and takes appropriate action. They make decisions about who can offer services and voice concerns regarding social care on behalf of Welsh Ministers, therefore receiving Excellent in all three areas is an amazing achievement!
CIW noted that our care services such as our home care, dementia care, live-in care and respite care promote independence for our Clients, and that the valuable support our Clients receive helps them to live well, maintaining and improving upon their health.

The CIW looked at 3 categories for our care - Wellbeing, Care and Support, and Leadership and Management.
Wellbeing — Excellent
CIW praised our culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment. We actively support both Clients and CareGivers, helping them identify strengths, set goals, and build confidence.
Our approach ensures Clients feel valued, listened to, and supported to live independently at home — improving health, happiness, and overall wellbeing.
Care and Support — Excellent
CIW highlighted the exceptional relationships between our Clients and CareGivers. These trusted bonds create a sense of security and comfort, especially for those receiving Dementia Care, Post‑Operative Care, or Hospital to Home support.
