We know how hard it is socially-distance from loved ones, especially those who are older and living on their own. Keeping our clients safe is crucial to us, even when faced with the Coronavirus pandemic.  Often, our clients are the most vulnerable in the community and are at a higher risk of contracting the virus and experiencing further health complications. Rest assured, at Right at Home Portsmouth, we ensure all necessary measures are in place to care for your loved ones in these unprecedented times.  We will continue to give our clients that security, safety and independence in their own homes, no matter what.

So, how are we committing to keeping those we care for safe and well?

We always keep up to date with government advice

We have online alerts set up to confirm any breaking news from the government and we regularly check the local area updates. If there are changes needed to the way we deliver care, our processes or personal protective equipment (PPE), we will act accordingly. We also ensure we communicate to all of our CareGivers about any updates to the relevant procedures so they can care confidently and safely.

Personal Protective Equipment

You can be safe in the knowledge that we always have an ample supply of PPE which is regularly provided to our CareGivers. All of CareGivers are equipped with:

  • Protective Masks
  • Face shields
  • Gloves
  • Aprons
  • Anti-bacterial gel

Our CareGivers go above and beyond

Our CareGivers are confident in using all forms of PPE and applying social distancing and hygiene measures. However, outside of COVID-19 regulations, seeing a friendly face and receiving genuine support is more important than ever.
Our CareGivers treat our clients like family, we always put clients first to ensure they are safe, happy and comfortable. With Right at Home Portsmouth, only a small team of caregivers will deliver care to your loved ones so that we can build meaningful relationships. A strong bond and great support is more important than ever during the coronavirus pandemic.

Right at Home Portsmouth can provide companionship calls, where we can sit and have a friendly chat over a cup of tea and spend some quality time. If needed, we will do the weekly shop if those you love are unable to go to public places. We can help in a variety of situations, where you are unable to do so.
