Right at Home East Staffs Launches Raizer Chair Service to Support Clients After Falls

Right at Home East Staffs is proud to introduce an incredible new piece of equipment that’s set to revolutionise how we respond to non-injury falls among our clients — the Raizer LiftUp Chair.

Designed to lift individuals safely and comfortably from the floor after a fall, the Raizer Chair empowers our Senior Care Team to assist clients quickly and securely, without the need for NHS intervention in non-emergency situations. This service is not only safer for clients, but also reduces the strain on local ambulance services.

How it works: If a client experiences a fall and there are no immediate injuries or medical red flags, a member of our experienced Senior Team will be dispatched for an emergency call-out. Upon arrival, they will carry out a full risk assessment and obtain approval from NHS 999 services to confirm that it is safe to lift the individual.

All members of our Senior Team have undergone in-depth, hands-on training to ensure they are fully confident and competent in using the Raizer Chair safely and effectively. The training also covers assessment procedures, communication techniques, and step-by-step protocols to ensure every call-out is carried out with professionalism, care, and dignity.

Once confirmed safe to proceed, the Raizer Chair can be assembled around the person and gently raise them back to a seated or standing position - all within the hour. The entire process is designed with safety and comfort in mind.
