Poppy scoops New to Care award

The 18-year-old received the accolade during a ceremony at the London Marriott Hotel, Regents Park on June 15.

Poppy, who joined Right at Home North Somerset two years ago, said: “I am thrilled to have received the New to Care award. It feels amazing to have been selected and to have my work recognised. 

“I have really enjoyed my time at Right at Home North Somerset over the past two years. Working in this industry and with my team and our clients is so rewarding and no two days are the same.”

The Stars of Social Care Awards shine a light on the stand out individuals working in social care, who through dedication and a commitment, go above and beyond to support those who are most vulnerable.

The awards, which are split into Home Care and Care Home events, were hosted by TV Personality Josie Gibson and took place across two nights on June 14 and 15, 2024.
