Right at Home North Somerset May round-up

There were some small glimpses of sunshine throughout May, which we really enjoyed!

It’s a great opportunity for our staff to help our Clients get out and about a bit more, which is a great boost for mood and overall well-being.

During one of those glimpses of sunshine, our client, alongside their companion, Tilly, enjoyed a lovely walk around the picturesque Cheddar Reservoir.

Our Caregivers love to try and embrace the great outdoors with our wonderful clients. Here’s just one example of one of our clients soaking up the fresh air and some company from one of our Caregivers.

Is there anything better than enjoying a sweet treat every now and then? Our wonderful client was beaming with joy, thanks to the sweet treats and compassionate care and support they receive from their fabulous Caregivers. Are you a fan of foam shrimps?

Our client, Anne, also enjoyed a day out to Burnham on Sea with her dedicated Caregiver - creating cherished memories and spreading smiles along the way. Moments like these make every journey special at Right at Home!

One of our clients started off their day the right way by indulging in a delicious full English breakfast alongside their attentive Caregiver.

Soaring spirits

As if all these trips out weren’t enough, some of our clients recently enjoyed a visit from some feathered friends from Sharandys Birds of Prey. As you can see from the image, they brought pure joy to our clients and even our staff members too. It’s so important to have opportunities like this to help boost everyone’s mood.

It’s also been an exciting time recently for the team here at Right at Home North Somerset as we have been welcoming new staff members. It’s great to see new faces, fresh energy and a commitment to excellence. Our newest team members have been diving into their manual handling training, gaining valuable skills to become exceptional Community Caregivers.

We’re thrilled to have them on board, ready to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. Their dedication and enthusiasm is truly inspiring. Welcome to the Right at Home North Somerset family!

Parkinson’s raffle

We are thrilled to share that our Parkinson's UK raffle was a huge success and we have now raised a total of £72!

Unleashing our creative spirits

Our talented Right at Home arts and crafts team is exploring the art of macramé, weaving intricate knots and patterns with vibrant cords. 

This arts and crafts session is not only a fun way to unwind but also a testament to the diverse talents and interests within our team.
