100% Client Satisfaction and another 5*Star Employer Award

For an impressive 7th Consecutive Year, Right at Home’s Twyford office recognised as a “5*STAR EMPLOYER” by employment engagement specialists, WorkBuzz.

Independent research company, Workbuzz recently surveyed more than 2000 Right at Home team members across the UK, in the homecare provider’s annual anonymous survey. Your local Reading & Wokingham District branch was one of a number of individual Right at Home offices to be awarded local 5*Star Employer status following the surveys in 2025, with an amazing 99% Engagement score based on a 100% response rate (that is, every single local employee responded to the survey).

To win an award like this is rare in any industry, but especially in Care.

Twyford Office Owner and Managing Director Kevin Lancaster said “When I opened my own homecare company just over 7 years ago, to serve the Reading & Wokingham District, I did so with a determination to build a team and a service that I could be proud of and that I would be genuinely happy to support any of my own family or friends.  I am so proud of the results of this years surveys of the Right at Home Reading & Wokingham District clients and carers.   

To have once again recorded 100% Client Satisfaction in the anonymous surveys (that is every single person responding to the survey, in each of the 7 years we have been operating, has said they would recommend us to others) is a phenomenal testament to the wonderful team we have built. 

Also for a 7th straight year, WorkBuzz have awarded us the coveted "5*Star Employer" status as an individual office.  For a company in any of the industries WorkBuzz works in to achieve this accolade is quite something, but to do it in such a challenging sector as the Care Sector is amazing.   Very few Care Companies achieve it even for one year, so to have been able to sustain the high standards required for 7 years (and counting!) is just wonderful, even within the Right at Home Network where a large proportion of offices also won this award in 2025.

Looking at the detail of the (anonymised) feedback we get from WorkBuzz, the synergy and link between high levels of staff satisfaction and engagement and the correspondingly high levels of client satisfaction are totally clear again this year.  We have from Day One held and promoted the view that in order to deliver first class high quality care is not just saying that's what you do in your brochures and website. It is only possible if you hire, train, support and retain a highly motivated team who are ready and willing to go the extra mile for their clients - to support them just as they would their own loved ones.
