Southampton Home Care: Celebrating the Opening of Our New Office

At Right at Home Solent, we’re proud to mark an exciting new milestone in our journey of providing compassionate home care across Southampton and nearby communities. We recently celebrated the official opening of our new Southampton office, a welcoming space at Office Wolf that reflects both our growth and our ongoing commitment to supporting families who need quality care at home. The event was catered by our friends at Mauries, the best coffee shop in Hampshire.

The opening was made extra special by the presence of the Lord Mayor of Southampton, James Baille, the youngest and 803rd mayor of the city, and Lucy Campbell, CEO of Right at Home UK, whose leadership continues to inspire us. This new office is more than just a building to us. It represents our promise to grow alongside the communities we serve. During his speech, James spoke about regenerating an out-of-use building and creating a welcoming workspace, which perfectly reflects the spirit of our new Southampton office.

We were delighted to welcome local businesses, charities, and NHS representatives to the event, which reminded us how vital community partnerships are in providing the best possible care. True quality care extends beyond our own team. It is built on collaboration, trust, and a shared goal of supporting those who need it most. Among our guests were Katherine Stephenson from Parkinson’s UK, Mandy Wiltshire from Solent Mind, Tara D. from Headway Southampton & Wessex and AFC Totton, and Nikki Toomer from Care UK, whose presence highlighted the strength of working together with the local community.

Over the years, Right at Home Solent has become known for providing personalized domiciliary care. We support people living with dementia, offer companionship and personal care, and provide specialist assistance to those who need extra help at home. Every step of our journey has been guided by listening to families, adapting to their needs, and putting compassion at the heart of everything we do.
