The Hampshire Professionals We Trust to Support Our Clients
Published: 06/04/2026
As a CQC Outstanding provider, we take every partnership seriously, because our clients deserve the very best network of support. Our directors Kev and Amy Popat led our team at Hampshire Business Show 2025, joined by Leighann Wickers (Care Service Manager), Yasmin Perrio (Client Care Manager), and Megan (Team Leader). Together, we explored opportunities to strengthen connections that directly support the seniors, adults with disabilities, and families we care for across Southampton, Wickham, Fareham, Gosport, and New Forest East.
We met 15 local professionals who are helping Hampshire families — here is what we learned and how it benefits our clients.
But more importantly, we built relationships that will help families access quicker care and tailored support for their loved ones.
“Met some great people and had loads of fun and laughs along the way,”
– Kev Popat | Director, Right at Home Solent
Engaging with the Local Community
The Hampshire Business Show gave us the opportunity to speak directly with professionals who influence local care and wellbeing. At our stand, we shared advice, answered questions, and offered insights about homecare services, while highlighting practical ways families can get help in Southampton and surrounding areas. These conversations were more than awareness-raising — they gave visitors actionable guidance about connecting with local support, care planning, and understanding what options are available.
Trusted Partnerships That Benefit Our Clients
Some of the key professionals we connected with include:
Healthcare Partners
- Edward Langford, Co-Founder of Enhanced Care Services and NHS Doctor — strengthening hospital referral pathways, which can reduce waiting times for families needing urgent assessments or care support.
- Justin Cousins, Director at Coastal Private GP — providing same-day GP access and health checks, giving families peace of mind when immediate medical guidance is needed.
Wellbeing & Community Support
- Headway Southampton & West Wessex — offering specialist rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injuries, which supports recovery programs that our carers can complement in clients’ homes.
- Meg Patel, SME Wellbeing Strategist — helping local families implement balanced routines, which benefits both physical and mental wellbeing for clients we support.
Business & Operational Support
- Gulzar Sharif, Business Advisor at Southampton City Council — strengthening local business infrastructure, which indirectly improves services and resources available to our clients and the wider community.
These connections allow us to coordinate care more efficiently, tap into local resources, and create a supportive network for our clients and their families.
Sharing Expertise and Insights
Throughout the day, our team actively engaged with attendees to exchange knowledge on supporting older adults and individuals with complex care needs.
