Celebrating Award-Winning Success Across the Right at Home Network

Published: 24/07/2025

At Right at Home, we know that high-quality care changes lives — and across our network, our franchise owners are being recognised for the extraordinary work they do in their communities.

We’re thrilled to share two recent achievements that reflect the strength of our brand, the values we stand for, and the calibre of the people who choose to join us.

Right at Home Portsmouth Wins Community Hero Award

Congratulations to Right at Home Portsmouth, who have won the Community Hero Award at the Central South Business Awards. This well-deserved recognition celebrates the team’s tireless commitment to improving the lives of those they support across the region.

Their work goes far beyond delivering care. From championing local initiatives to making meaningful connections with Clients and families, Right at Home Portsmouth exemplifies what it means to be a trusted local care provider. As they shared in response to the award:

“Our work is all about making a difference in people’s lives, and being celebrated for that is truly humbling… Every act of kindness, every moment of care, and every effort to go the extra mile is what makes our community so special. You are the heart of everything we do.”

Right at Home Isle of Wight: Finalists at the 2025 bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards

We’re also celebrating Vicky and Paul Butler, owners of Right at Home Isle of Wight, who have been named finalists in the Community Impact category at the 2025 bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards — the most prestigious recognition in UK franchising.

With an Outstanding CQC rating and a reputation for leading from the front, the Isle of Wight office continues to demonstrate what can be achieved with values-driven leadership and a relentless focus on quality. The winners will be announced on 6 November 2025, and we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way.

Their achievement places them alongside past Right at Home franchisees who’ve been recognised at national level, including:

  • Kev and Amy Popat of Right at Home Solent and Southampton, winners of Customer Engagement and Overall Franchisee of the Year in 2019
  • Almas Adam, who won Young Franchisee of the Year in 2018
  • Alastair Shanks, named Local Focus Franchisee of the Year in 2021, and now a multi-office owner leading three thriving territories

A Network That Stands Out

These awards are more than industry accolades. They’re a reflection of the consistent excellence and local leadership that defines the Right at Home brand. Whether it’s receiving recognition from local judges or standing out on the national stage, our franchisees continue to demonstrate that care can be both high-quality and heart-led.

Kate Dilworth, Associate Director – Network Development at Right at Home UK, commented:

“These achievements are not only a source of pride for our network — they send a strong message to prospective franchisees about what’s possible with the Right at Home model. When passionate local owners are supported with the right training, compliance, and business tools, they can build care businesses that genuinely change lives.”
