RaH network strengthened by annual gathering of Registered Managers

The Registered Managers Conference left attendees feeling inspired, motivated and connected with their peers

At Right at Home, Registered Managers are the driving force behind the success of our franchise offices across the network.

They work in partnership with the Franchise Owner to oversee the smooth running of their business, ensure regulatory compliance and lead dedicated care teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for their Clients.

Their leadership is so integral to the network that we host a Registered Managers Conference each year, an inspiring event featuring practical workshops, compelling talks from influential speakers and valuable networking opportunities.

Our 2025 conference, held at the Ardencote Manor in Warwickshire on November 11-12, was a triumph, with Registered Managers left feeling motivated and connected with their peers.

Pat Reid, Registered Manager at RaH North Somerset, said: “It was a fantastic conference, full of valuable information, and it was brilliant to catch up with other RMs and discover how their offices work.

“Thank you to National Office for all their time and effort in organising such a special event.”

Suzana Stojanova, Registered Manager at RaH Wandsworth & Lambeth, which opened last year, attended the conference for the first time.

Commenting on her experience, she said: “I found the conference to be well organised and very informative. As a Registered Manager with a new franchise, I really valued the opportunity to gain some practical business development tips, particularly from such influential speakers.”

The two-day event covered sessions on staff wellbeing, investing in team development and standing out in a competitive marketplace.

Delegates also heard updates on compliance from our Registered Managers Advisory Council, which provides a safe space for peer support, a buddy system for new managers joining the network, and a platform to work on national policy reviews with the UK Quality & Compliance team.

Highly anticipated by all attendees, our keynote speaker this year was Paralympic Gold Medallist Naomi Riches, who shared her incredible story of dedication and pushing her mind and body to their limits to achieve her sporting goals.

Suzana commented: “Naomi’s motivational speech left me in tears. Her resilience and strength to believe in herself, even when it seemed impossible, inspired me so much. Opening a new franchise has its challenges, but I will take what I learned from Naomi and support Sorin [Floti, Owner, RaH Wandsworth] to create a business that supports people to live the lives they choose.”

Aside from the presentations and talks delivered over the two days, Registered Managers gained real value from the conversations they had with one another – around the coffee station, at the bar or during our annual ‘ice breaker’ session, where attendees take part in team activities.

Registered Managers in attendance also got the chance to unwind and celebrate their successes at our awards ceremony and gala dinner.

Prestigious accolades presented at the 2025 Celebration Awards included Rising Star, Care Leader of the Year and Spirit of Franchising, which recognised Registered Managers who have gone above and beyond to support their peers within the network.

Abbie Varney, Registered Manager at RaH Wimbledon Putney and Kingston, was named the winner of the Spirit of Franchising award for supporting her fellow RMs to develop and manage a range of data collection forms, ensuring they meet their operational needs.

She said: “It was an honour to receive the Spirit of Franchising Award. It was a lovely surprise and very touching to hear the nominations and their thoughtful words. I’m grateful to be part of such a fantastic team of managers and to have the support network we’ve built together. I look forward to working with everyone in the year ahead.”
