Celebrating Our Team
September was a great month for the Right at Home Solent team as we came together for the Right at Home UK National Celebration Awards 2026.
It was a chance to celebrate the work happening across the Right at Home network, and we received two awards on the night:
Marketing Excellence Award
Making a Difference Award, Individual
Both awards recognise different parts of the work our team does, from the marketing activity that helps us stay connected with our local community to the care and support provided to our Clients.

Recognising Our Marketing Work
For the second year in a row, our team received the Marketing Excellence Award.
The award recognises offices that have been proactive with their marketing and have kept up regular activity to build their local visibility.
There is a lot of work behind our marketing, from social media and local events to our website, blogs, newsletters and keeping in touch with people in the Fareham and Gosport area.
It is nice to see this work recognised, especially as marketing is not just about promoting our services. It also helps us share what we do, keep people informed and stay involved in the local community.
Making a Difference to a Young Client
We also received the Making a Difference Award, Individual.
This award recognised the work of our team in supporting a young man who receives care from Right at Home Solent.
Over time, the support he has received has helped reduce his hospital admissions and has also helped him get out and do more of the things he enjoys.
For us, this is what person-centred care is about. It is about understanding the person, what matters to them and how we can support them in their everyday life.
The award also recognises the Care Assistants and wider team members who support him. Their work has helped make these positive changes possible. This is an award that our team are incredibly proud of, making a huge difference to someone’s life – and being picked out of more than 5000 other stories – we are the ones making the most incredible difference! A real tearjerker for sure, and something that will live with us forever.

Thank You to Our Team
A big thank you to Amy and Kev for their support, and to everyone across the Solent team who plays a part in what we do.
The awards may have been given to the office and to an individual, but there is a lot of teamwork behind both.
From the Care Assistants supporting Clients in their own homes to the office team working behind the scenes, everyone contributes to the service we provide.
Looking Ahead
It was great to have an evening where we could stop and celebrate what the team has achieved.
We will keep building on this and continue to provide reliable, person-centred homecare for Clients and their families across Fareham, Gosport and the surrounding areas.
