We are incredibly proud to announce that Right at Home Cardiff & Newport has been named finalists in multiple categories at the prestigious #SocialCareStars Awards! The event will take place on Friday 12th June at the Leonardo Royal London St Paul’s, please cheer for us!
These nominations are a true reflection of the dedication, compassion, and hard work shown by our amazing team every single day. Supporting people to live safely and independently at home is at the heart of everything we do, and it is wonderful to see that commitment recognised for such a wide selection of areas within the back office team.

Most Dedicated Coordinator – Rhian Richards
Rhian started as a Carer with in 2020, she quickly progresses into to the office as the Cardiff East Care Coordinator. Rhian did not stop there, she is now our Care Coordinator for the whole of Cardiff, supporting over 120 Clients and 100 Carers, this alone is huge achievement. Rhian consistently goes above and beyond to support both our Clients and care team. Her organisation, compassion, and commitment make a real difference every day.
Awesome Admin – Lisa Hurley
Lisa joined the team in 2022, with a huge background in providing care, however Lisa wanted a change and joined the admin team. Lisa plays a vital role behind the scenes, helping keep everything running smoothly while always supporting the team with positivity and professionalism. Lisa is the main reason the our office is now completely digital now!
The Recruitment & Retention Award – Laura French
Laura began her right at home journey in 2023, taking ownership of the recruitment and retentions efforts of the business. Laura’s passion for finding and supporting the right people within care has helped strengthen our team and maintain the high standards we are proud of at Right at Home Cardiff & Newport. She is also high in our retention events, which she organises events for the Carers to attend.
