Celebrating Success at the Right at Home 2025 Celebration Awards

Published: 23/09/2025

The Right at Home network came together at Mottram Hall during our Annual Conference to celebrate the achievements of our teams, offices, and individuals at the 2025 Celebration Awards.

The event was attended by three VIP guests — the network's CareGiver of the Year, Care Leader of the Year and Rising Star of the Year, who were each nominated by their local office and judged by a panel including Pip Wilkins, CEO of the BFA, and Innes Laing, Franchise Director at HSBC.

The Rising Star of the Year award was presented to Samuel Harrop, who is Registered Manager at Right at Home Ilkley, Keighley & Skipton. Samuel has already shown the qualities of a future leader, making a real impact early in his career with his commitment and drive.

The Care Leader of the Year Award went to Annie Essiben from Right at Home Bridgend & Vale of Glamorgan, recognised for her ability to lead with strength and compassion while supporting her team to deliver excellent care.

The evening concluded with the CareGiver of the Year Award, presented to Meg Turner from Right at Home Stevenage, Bishop’s Stortford & Braintree. Meg was praised for her dedication, compassion, and reliability in supporting Clients to live well in their own homes.

Recognising Excellence

The RightStart Award went to Right at Home Solihull, who have made an impressive start to their journey with us, demonstrating strong growth and quickly building a reputation for high-quality care in their community.

The Marketing Champion Award was presented to Right at Home Solent & Southampton, whose creative campaigns and active community presence have brought the Right at Home brand to life in a way that connects with local families and helps more people access the care they need.

Right at Home Portsmouth was awarded Employer of the Year, recognised for the way they support their team, create a positive workplace culture, and ensure Carers feel valued in the work they do.

The Growth Award went to Right at Home Chippenham, having expanded rapidly while maintaining a clear focus on helping Clients live well and supporting families with what matters most to them.

There was another win for Right at Home Ilkley, Keighley & Skipton as well. The Spirit of Franchising Award was presented to Managing Director Paresh Mistry, who was recognised for his invaluable support of fellow Franchise Owners. Voted for by his peers, this award highlights the generosity and collaboration Paresh has shown in helping others succeed across the Right at Home network.

The Overall Sales Award was won by Joe Guishard (Right at Home Cardiff & Newport and Right at Home Bridgend & Vale of Glamorgan), whose leadership and focus have delivered strong results across his offices. Additionally, one of the evening’s most prestigious awards, Business of the Year, went to Right at Home Bridgend & Vale of Glamorgan, in recognition of excellence across all aspects of their business — from operations and leadership through to the quality of care they deliver every day.

Celebrating Our Franchise Owners

The Celebration Awards are also about recognising our franchise owners, who show that running a business with purpose can change lives. We are proud to celebrate the work of our owners and to see them achieve great things — whether that’s growing their services, supporting their teams, or strengthening their local communities.

For us, it is a privilege to watch their journeys unfold and to see how each owner shapes their business to reflect the needs of their Clients and communities.

We also welcomed our new and returning members of the Premier Circle, recognising those who continue to achieve at the highest level, setting the benchmark for quality and performance across the network.

The evening was compered by our very own David O’Brien, Head of Workforce Development, who did an excellent job guiding us through the event and creating a fantastic atmosphere for everyone in the room.

Reflecting on the evening, Kate Dilworth, Associate Director of Network Development, said:

“The Celebration Awards are a real showcase of what’s possible within the Right at Home network. It’s inspiring to see our franchise owners achieving such outstanding things — not only building successful businesses, but doing so with care and compassion at the centre. For anyone considering a franchise opportunity with us, these achievements show what can be accomplished with the right support, commitment, and focus on Clients.”

Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists and winners. The Celebration Awards highlight the dedication, growth, and leadership that make Right at Home a trusted name in homecare. Every winner, finalist, and team recognised this year has played their part in helping Clients live well and in understanding what matters most to them.
