A career in care was not something Veronica had considered before joining the Right at Home team. It was after she lost her Dad that she decided she wanted a change of direction.

Posts from Right at Home ‘kept flashing up’ on her computer screen so she decided to read up a bit more.

Veronica says that Right at Home seemed different to other care companies. It was clear that they were making a difference to people’s lives. This really appealed to her and made her want to find out more about joining the team.

“The best thing about working for Right at Home,” explains Veronica, “is feeling part of a team. I also love the fact that I’m always learning. The team all learn from each other and I can also take extra training and qualifications if I want to – the opportunities are really good here.”

Veronica loves doing that little bit extra for her clients – she remembers one time when she bought a cake, candles and flowers to celebrate a client’s birthday.

“Her face lit up and that made me feel really happy inside. Every client is different;” she continues, “I love making a difference, helping them out, listening to their stories and making them feel good about themselves. I just love my job.”
