Community, Care and Connection
Navigating the journey of dementia can often feel like walking a path without a map. Whether you are living with a diagnosis, supporting a loved one or simply looking to learn more, finding the right resources is essential.
That is why on Tuesday 19th May, from 10am–1pm, the beautiful setting of Bisham Abbey will host Dementia Day, a community event dedicated to raising awareness, sharing support and connecting those affected by dementia.
Organised by Right at Home Maidenhead, Marlow & Henley, Age UK Berkshire and Bisham Abbey, the event will bring together local organisations, professionals, unpaid Carers and members of the community for a morning of information, advice and meaningful conversation.
A Community Coming Together
Dementia affects thousands of families across the UK, and events like Dementia Day play an important role in helping people feel informed, supported and less alone. By bringing together healthcare professionals, community organisations and local residents, the event hopes to encourage open conversations around dementia and promote greater understanding within the community.
Everyone is welcome to attend, and admission is free.
