Smooth Sailing
There is nothing quite like a day spent out on the water to bring people together, and our recent outing with the Rivertime Boat Trust in Henley-on-Thames was a true highlight for the Right at Home family. Set against the serene backdrop of the River Thames, our clients, Care Assistants, and team members set sail aboard a specially adapted, fully accessible riverboat designed for individuals with mobility challenges and additional needs.
As a leading provider of Henley home care and outstanding Home care in Maidenhead, creating meaningful experiences that boost mental well-being, combat isolation, and foster a strong sense of community is at the heart of everything we do. This peaceful afternoon cruise through the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside provided the perfect opportunity for everyone to relax, reconnect, and make unforgettable memories together.
Ice Cream & Captain's Hats
Before setting sail, the fun kicked off right by the water with generous scoops of delicious ice cream a sweet, refreshing treat enjoyed by everyone before stepping onto the deck.
Once aboard and cruising along the River Thames, the excitement continued as the riverboat crew invited our clients to take the helm and try on the skipper’s official captain’s hat for a few brilliant photo opportunities.
Steering the boat and posing with the captain's hat brought out endless laughter and big smiles, providing engaging, interactive entertainment and giving everyone a truly memorable turn at playing captain for the day.
