Published: 09/01/2026
We were delighted to recently feature on Marlow FM 97.5, where we had the opportunity to talk about the work we do at Right at Home Maidenhead, Marlow & Henley, our home care services, and the importance of community connection across our area
Being part of local radio allows us to share helpful information, raise awareness of the support available, and connect with people who may be looking for care or simply a friendly, welcoming community.

Sharing Information About Our Home Care Services
During the interview, we spoke about the range of person-centred home care services we provide to support people to live safely and independently in their own homes. Every individual we support is different, which is why our care is always tailored around personal needs, routines, and preferences.
Our services include:
Our Community Groups: Bringing People Together
A key focus of the conversation on Marlow FM was the importance of social connection and reducing loneliness. Alongside our care services, we are proud to run and support a variety of community groups that are open, friendly, and welcoming to local people.
Our community groups include:
Social Seniors - Wednesday, Weekly - St Mark's Crescent Methodist Church - 2pm-4pm
Our Social Seniors sessions are relaxed, enjoyable group gatherings where people can take part in games, activities, and conversation in a supportive environment. These sessions are designed to encourage social interaction, confidence, and fun.
Chatty Café - 3rd Tuesday of the Month - Bisham Abbey - 11am-12pm (Starting back up in April)
Chatty Café offers a welcoming space for people to pop in for a cuppa and a chat. It’s a simple but powerful way to encourage conversation, connection, and friendship within the local community.
Pubs ’n’ Pastries - 1st Tuesday of the Month - The Fox & Castle Pub, Old Windsor - 11am-12:30pm
Pubs ’n’ Pastries brings people together in a relaxed, informal setting to enjoy good company, conversation, and a treat or two. These meet-ups help people stay socially active while enjoying familiar and friendly local venues.
Carers Café - 3rd Wednesday of each Month - St Mark's Crescent Methodist Church - 2:30pm-4pm
Our Carers Café provides a supportive space for unpaid carers to meet others who understand their experiences. It offers an opportunity to share stories, gain support, and enjoy some time for themselves in a welcoming environment.
Supporting Wellbeing Through Community
These groups play an important role in supporting emotional wellbeing, confidence, and independence. Staying connected and having something to look forward to can make a real difference, and we are proud to help create these opportunities within our local communities.
