"All the CareGivers we have been introduced to have been lovely, and nothing is too much trouble, they see to mum’s personal care needs and do some light housework, and will make drinks and meals if required. I would highly recommend their services."

FAQs about our personal care services

What services does personal care include?

Personal care services relate specifically to personal hygiene. We can support you or your loved one with bathing and shower assistance, personal grooming, oral hygiene and more. Above all, personal homecare includes services designed to preserve modesty and dignity.

What do personal care workers do?

Personal care assistants visit you at home to provide physical support with the activities of daily living. Their support is designed to help you maintain good hygiene. Of course, they can also offer valuable companionship and support, as a trusted friend. Your CareGiver will follow an agreed care plan, so that they only do as much as you feel comfortable with.

How much does personal care services cost?

The price of our homecare will depend on the Client’s individual needs and number of hours of care provided. We recommend a minimum of one hour for any care visit, to provide safe and effective care provision. But we can discuss how regularly you’d like these visits, before providing an estimated cost of care.

Please contact your local Right at Home office to discuss your requirements and personal budget.

How do you give personal care to the elderly?

Personal homecare is, at its very core, personal. So the level of care we offer to elderly people will depend on their preferences and independent capabilities. For more specific information about our care services for elderly people, take a look at our elderly care offering.
