15 Years of Exceptional Care: The Right at Home Conference 2026
Published: 14/09/2026
Being 'Crystal Clear' About Standards
This week, Right at Home UK Franchise Owners from across the network will come together in Chester for our Annual Conference. The event will be a special opportunity to mark 15 years of exceptional care and reflect on what that journey has meant for the people and communities we support.
Over two days of shared learning, inspiring conversations and celebration, we’re coming together to exchange ideas and explore the future of homecare. This year's Conference theme is ‘Crystal’, inspired by the traditional gift for a 15-year anniversary. It is a fitting theme as we reflect on our journey and look ahead to the future of homecare.
We’re being crystal clear about the standards of care we want to deliver, the experience we want our Clients and their families to have, and how we can continue supporting our local offices to empower people to live a life they love.
Over the past 15 years, that has meant supporting thousands of people to live independently in their own homes, helping families feel reassured about the care their loved ones receive, and building trusted relationships within local communities.
Sharing Ideas to Improve Care
The event, which will be held on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th September, will give Owners an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and think about how their local offices can continue to deliver the best possible care.
Through talks, panel discussions and workshops, Owners will share best practice and discuss some of the opportunities and challenges facing homecare.
We will explore how developments in technology, data and AI could support the future of care, helping local teams work more effectively and enable care professionals to spend more time building relationships and providing great care.
Our CEO, Lucy Campbell, will open the event with an address built around the Crystal theme and touching on our growth as a network, milestones, and our direction of travel. There’s plenty to celebrate this year with recent regulatory inspections pushing our percentage of inspected services rated ‘Outstanding’ up to 35%.
There will also be a fireside conversation between Lucy Campbell and Dr Jane Townson OBE, Chief Executive of the Homecare Association, delving into the wider future of homecare and the issues shaping the sector.
For our Franchise Owners, these conversations provide an opportunity to consider what changes in social care could mean for their local communities and, ultimately, for the people they support.
“My hope for this year’s Conference is that every Franchise Owner leaves feeling proud of what we have achieved together, energised by the opportunity ahead and, most importantly, crystal clear about where we are going next. There is a huge amount changing around us, but we have an incredibly strong network, exceptional quality and a clear ambition for the future. I want this conference to give people real confidence and excitement about the next chapter for Right at Home.”
– Lucy Campbell | CEO, Right at Home UK
Celebrating the People Who Make a Difference
Lucy’s speech will be followed by a talk from Heather Wehrle, Director of Operations at Right at Home, who will reflect on the transformation of the network over the last 12 months, including the successful launch of a brand refresh and new website, and investment in business growth support.
Our Keynote Speaker Heather Wright, Director of Advance Performance and Award-Winning Global Speaker, will be delivering a talk entitled ‘Wired to Connect’.
A particularly important part of Conference will be our Celebration Awards, where we recognise the achievements of individuals and teams across the Right at Home network.
Across 12 categories, we will recognise the people who make a difference to Clients every day – often in ways that may seem small, but which can mean everything to the person receiving care and their family.
Awards including Care Leader of the Year, Care Assistant of the Year, Employer of the Year and Rising Star of the Year provide an opportunity for Owners to celebrate the incredible contributions being made within their local offices by their care teams.
15 Years of Trusted Support
Fifteen years of Right at Home UK is about much more than the growth of a network.
It is about the people who have trusted us to support them in their own homes, the families who have welcomed our care teams into their lives, and the Carers and Registered Managers who provide compassionate support every day. Each of our office owners have built teams and services dedicated to making a difference in their communities and providing vital care and support for local people.
This week's Annual Conference is a chance for our Franchise Owners to celebrate all of that, learn from one another and look towards the next chapter.
Fifteen years on, our purpose remains clear: to provide exceptional care that helps people live well, maintain their independence and feel valued, supported and connected in their own homes.
That is what makes the journey worth celebrating – and what will continue to guide us in the future.
