Next week the social care sector will come together in support of Professional Care Worker’s Week, running from 1st – 4th September 2020. The week aims to recognise the dedication, hard work and resilience of carers, who play a vital role in keeping our communities safe and supported.

Never has the role of care workers been so important as in recent months. During the global pandemic, they have continued to work tirelessly to ensure those who need care and support receive it. We are incredibly grateful for our care workers and their tremendous efforts during this very challenging time.

Over the four days of Professional Care Worker’s Week, run by the Care Workers’ Charity,  there will be a number of webinars and panel discussions open for everyone to attend, around the theme of respect and recognition. To book on to these events, click here and search ‘Professional Care Worker’s Week’.

You can support Professional Care Worker’s Week by tuning into the webinars and panel discussions being held throughout the week and promote the week on social media using the hashtag #PCWWeek20.
