A Fantastic Achievement
We're proud to share that Right at Home South Trafford has been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) — the highest rating the national regulator can award.
The team, who support Clients across Altrincham, Sale, Urmston and the surrounding areas, received Outstanding ratings in both Caring and Well-led, with Good ratings across Safe, Effective and Responsive.

The inspection report highlighted the depth of the relationships built between Clients and Carers. Inspectors found that people felt genuinely seen and respected, with one Client reflecting: "It's not just physical care, it's social... the communication is vital."
That spirit came through in the stories inspectors recorded, too. One of their Carers helped reconnect a Client with former colleagues from their healthcare career, arranging a supported afternoon tea at home — a meaningful reunion that hadn't been possible for years.

The report also recognised Right at Home South Trafford's proactive Falls Prevention Programme, which provides enhanced staff training alongside practical guidance for Clients and families around mobility, footwear and home safety. The programme has contributed to a measurable reduction in avoidable falls — a meaningful outcome for Clients who want to remain confident and independent at home.
