Leading homecare provider Right at Home UK is thrilled to announce that its Chief Operating Officer, Lucy Campbell, has won a national franchising award. On Wednesday 21 October at the NatWest EWiF (Encouraging Women into Franchising) Awards, Lucy was named the winner of the highly coveted ‘Woman Franchisor of the Year’ Award.

The award was open to women in Senior Management roles and the competition, as always, was very strong. As mentioned during the awards ceremony, the judges were impressed with Lucy’s unwavering commitment to strive for continuous improvement which is mirrored across the network, and her hands-on, can-do approach to supporting Franchise Owners to achieve their goals.

It is this commitment to continuous improvement that has seen Right at Home rated as the number one rated major homecare franchise on the independent review site homecare.co.uk. 100% of its inspected offices are also rated Good or Outstanding by the independent regulator for health and social care in England – the Care Quality Commission, and 27% of its inspected offices are rated Outstanding. In addition, Right at Home is one of only three brands to have achieved eight consecutive years of 5* Franchisee Satisfaction, following annual surveys completed by the network.

EWiF, a not-for-profit organisation which provides advice and guidance to anyone looking to break into the franchise industry, holds an annual awards ceremony designed to celebrate the achievements of women in franchising. This year, the awards took place online, bringing together over 150 franchise professionals in celebration of the successes of women across the UK.

Speaking on the award win, Lucy said: “I am absolutely delighted to win this award. I have been involved with EWiF for a number of years now and have always been inspired by its members and the work it does to encourage more women into franchising.

“This recognition is a great personal achievement but it is also reflective of the network’s hard work and dedication to achieving our mutual goal of becoming the UK’s most trusted homecare and franchising brand, and it is this collective effort that enables us to win such awards.”

Ken Deary, Right at Home UK CEO, congratulated Lucy on her achievements saying: “This is a tremendous accolade and Lucy is a very worthy winner. She is an inspiration to anyone looking to join the sector and we are very proud of her achievements.”

Helen Mansfield, Managing Director of EWiF, added: “The rise in the number of women who are breaking into franchising, and carving out their own businesses in this industry, is such a joy to see! We have been encouraging women to consider franchising as a route for business success since 2008, and are honoured to be able to recognise Lucy for her contribution to franchising.”

Lucy’s award win comes fresh off the back of two Right at Home entries in What Franchise’s ‘100 Most Influential Women in Franchising’ list earlier this month, which includes some of the biggest names in the international franchising space. Lucy was named in the ‘Services and Care’ list and Amy Patel Popat, Co-Franchise Owner of multi-award-winning Right at Home Solent, was included in the ‘Rockstar Franchisee’ category.
