This past Valentine’s Day, a team of dedicated carers decided to step in not just as support workers, but as cupids, ensuring that the romance in their clients' lives continued to bloom.

Thoughtful Surprises and Lasting Love
Polly wanted nothing more than to show her husband, Mike, that her love for him was as vibrant as ever. Recognising how important this was to her, her carer organised a special shopping trip. Together, they navigated the aisles to pick out the perfect box of chocolates and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. But the carer knew Mike would want to reciprocate. In a quiet moment, the carer made sure to pick up a second bouquet of flowers on Mike’s behalf, allowing him the dignity and joy of surprising his beloved Polly. When the couple exchanged their gifts, the room was filled with the kind of joy that comes from decades of shared devotion.
Across town, Ken was feeling quietly heartbroken. Valentine's Day was approaching, and his physical limitations meant he couldn't venture out to the shops to buy something special for his wife, Wendy. He was sad at the thought of breaking a lifelong tradition. Seeing his distress, his carer quietly stepped in as his proxy. They picked up a stunning arrangement of Wendy's favorite flowers and sneaked them to Ken. When Wendy walked into the room, Ken was able to present her with the beautiful bouquet, his face lighting up just as brightly as hers.
