Published: 31/10/2025

Musical Memories, an annual concert for people living with dementia, has marked its tenth year with a sell-out event.

Organised by local home care provider Right at Home GF, the concert brought the community together for an afternoon of nostalgia and song in a friendly and supportive environment.

Acapella group In Accord delighted the audience with two sets featuring music from the 1950s to the 1980s, providing an afternoon of familiar songs enjoyed by clients, carers, and members of the community.

Liz Young, Head of Marketing and Recruitment at Right at Home GF says: “Music has a unique ability to unlock memories and bring people together. Musical Memories perfectly captures our commitment to promoting inclusion and wellbeing within the community and, ten years after it began, we are so proud to see itthriving and continuing to make a real difference for local people.”

The event was supported by four sponsors – Pax Hill; Heron Manor; Stephen Orwin, Neuro PT, and Brow Hill Care Home. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go towards the running of Right at Home’s community groups which include dementia-friendly Sunflower Cafés, Singing for the Mind, and Love to Move sessions.
