Right at Home GF hold Christmas Fair for the Alzheimer’s Society

As home care providers with a special focus on dementia care, the Alzheimer’s Society is very close to the hearts of the team at Right at Home GF.

Over the past two years, staff have raised £3,000 for the charity and this December, as part of ‘Elf Day’ which is the Alzheimer’s Society’s national fundraiser, they have set themselves a target to raise even more.

From 11am to 3pm on Saturday 4 December, Right at Home GF is holding a Christmas fair at their office in Farnham and everybody is welcome to join in the fun. 

Alastair Shanks, Managing Director at Right at Home GF says: “The Christmas fair promises to be a great event for all age groups. A number of local businesses will have stalls and there will be Christmas fair favourites including a tombola, face painting and Santa’s grotto plus games such as Bat the Elf and Name the Elf.

“The fair is just one of several fundraising events which we are organising in December. We are also holding a ‘wear your pyjamas to work’ day, a wreath making workshop for our caregivers and on 10 December we will be outside Waitrose in Farnham with collection tins.”

As well as raising money, Right at Home GF aims to increase awareness about the Alzheimer’s Society and to share knowledge and information with people who are living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

The Christmas Fair will be held at The Sands Business Centre, Farnham, GU10 1PX. Anybody who is unable to attend but who would like to make a donation can do so via Just Giving.
