Turn an old shoebox into something special this Christmas

We are supporting the Farnham Herald Christmas Shoebox Appeal again this year which distributes Christmas cheer to elderly people in and around Farnham.

Many elderly people in our area face the prospect of spending the festive season alone, but you can make their Christmas a little brighter.  Here’s how:

Bring your old shoeboxes, spare wrapping paper and gift items in to the Right at Home office by Friday 14th December.

Gift items can include soaps, chocolates, notebooks, pens, toiletries, biscuits, sweets, puzzle books and any other non-perishable treats.

It’s a great activity to do with young children – they might even like to make a Christmas card too.

We’ll deliver them all to the Herald offices on behalf of Right at Home staff, their families and friends and they will then be distributed in the local area.

It couldn’t be simpler. Let’s all make difference this Christmas!
